What makes an artificial turf install last in Central Florida?

Most of the work is under the turf. The old grass and roots come out, the soil is graded so rain moves away from the house, and a compacted aggregate base goes down so the surface stays flat and drains fast after a summer storm. The turf is then cut to fit, seamed, secured along every edge and topped with infill.
